In summer 2008, Pan Tadeusz survived a heart attack. He said „The day I won’t be able to take care of myself anymore, I prefer to die.“ In autumn 2010, he was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. Two years later, he lay down to sleep and never woke up again. Pan Tadeusz was father to 9 children, and grandfather to 17 grandchildren, of which I am one.
